Thank you to the North End Ski Club for the opportunity to develop a new web site for their Cable, Wisconsin ski club!
The North End Ski Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development and promotion of non-motorized outdoor recreation in the Cable area as a means to facilitate opportunities for outdoor education, tourism and healthful interaction with the natural environment.
The North End Ski Club is responsible for the development of the North End Trailhead and warming cabin, ski and snowshoe trails, trail grooming and special events and programs. The club is a classic grassroots community-based initiative comprised of local skiers who recognized an important need and took the necessary steps to fill that need. The club has developed a strong working relationship and partnership with the Bayfield County Forest and has worked with other organizations including the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation and Cable Natural History Museum in a cooperative and complementary nature. As a non-profit, all volunteer organization we have made a significant contribution to our community, creating a tremendous legacy of ski and snowshoe trails and supporting infrastructure.
We encourage you to become a member of our club and help support our mission. Not only are we a great group of fun-loving skiers and snowshoers, you will be a part of a historic initiative, one that will have significant long term benefits for the entire Cable area.
